This partnership of doctors has existed since before the inception of the National Health Service in 1948. The practice moved to its present site in 1960, originally it was based in the building at the corner of Fowlds Street and King Street in Kilmarnock. The changes, and expansion, of primary medical care over the years have also been reflected in the changes to the infrastructure of the surgery building itself - the surgery was extended in 1990, and largely rebuilt in 1998.
The Practice covers all of the Kilmarnock postcodes as well as the villages of Kilmaurs, Fenwick, Crookedholm, Hurlford, Crosshouse, Gatehead, Dundonald, Craigie and to Bogend Toll in the South.
There is wheelchair access to all ground-floor areas, which includes all consulting rooms, toilet facilities, and reception.
