The flu vaccination campaign for 2013/2014 will begin on Monday 30 September. Book your appointment now or come to one of our drop in clinics on the following days
Saturday 5 October from 9 am - 12 noon.
Thursday 10 October and Thursday 17 October from 2 - 4 pm
All patients that are deemed 'at risk' (see below) will be contacted by telephone or letter (from mid September) advising them to make an appointment.
If you consider yourself 'at risk', but do not receive a letter, please contact the surgery on Kilmarnock (01563) 522118 to make an appointment.
'At Risk' Groups
Regular immunisation (vaccination) is given FREE OF CHARGE to the following 'at risk' patients in order to protect them from seasonal flu:
- People aged 65 or over.
- People with a serious medical condition.
- People living in a residential or nursing home.
- Main carers for an elderly or disabled person whose welfare may be at risk if the carer becomes ill.
- Pregnant Women
