When We Are Closed

outofhoursThe out of hours emergency service in Ayrshire and Arran is provided by NHS ADOC. This service takes emergency calls for the practice from 5.30pm until 8.00am the following morning, and at weekends. Please note that all telephone calls made to this service are recorded. Please telephone 08454 24 24 24 to contact NHS ADOC. This number is recorded on the Practice answering machine. The NHS ADOC service offers:

  • telephone contact with a nursing sister specially trained to offer advice or to arrange an emergency GP consultation
  • a GP emergency consultation service based at consulting rooms in Crosshouse Hospital
  • a GP emergency home visit service for those who are too unwell to attend the consulting rooms
